Fans’ response to the new partnership of Emma Raducanu

Raducanu on Tuesday shared a post on Instagram revealing her partnership with Meta and wrote, “how do I look?” As a response to this, fans flooded her comment section. While some were supportive, others brought up the matter of her not paying attention to her career.

Further, a certain fan started the conversation of how Serena Williams shouldn’t think of a comeback, as now the court belongs to the Brit by writing, “Emma the rage to riches girl, please put Serena Williams back into retirement, tennis is for the young not the old…!”

To which a Williams fan replied, “Dude…you really don’t want the real Serena to wake up. If she decides she wants to return…believe me…. She’s ready…. And will be in much better shape than she does now. And the only reason she’s not fully hanging her racquet is because of that elusive one title. She will stop once she’s able to fulfil that. Will she…? Only time will tell. Emma still has years to play about in tennis. There’s no rush for her.”

Raducanu met Williams only once on the court. They locked horns for a seat in the round of 32 of Cincinnati Masters. Both the aces were not in form, but the 19-year-old managed to take down the 23 times Grand Slam champion in straight sets of 6-4 6-0.
