Tennis players have their own unique sense of fashion. They choose the things that go best with their personality and game. But there are a lot of tennis players who are not much into this side of the arena, and one of them is Ons Jabeur. While breaking records on the tennis court might be her thing, dealing with fashion on and off the court is definitely not.

The 29-year-old tennis player is currently competing in the Abu Dhabi Open, and she recently shared her opinions about fashion. Let’s find out if the former world number two has a close relationship with fashion or not.

Ons Jabeur’s thoughts on fashion

In a recent interview with CNN, the Wimbledon finalist talked about various aspects of her game. While she was talking about communicating with young tennis players and was having a serious conversation regarding how the junior tour and the professional tour are two different things, she made lighthearted comments about her fashion sense.

Jabeur said, “I feel for these young players; maybe they don’t have a lot of experience, they are new, and they wanna find a friendly face. So, they know me; I am always open to talk to, even like chat about random things.”

Then, rather than beating around the bush, she straightforwardly made it clear that she is not good at fashion or even having conversations surrounding that subject. She added, Maybe not about fashion because I suck at that level, but in any other things I am happy to give any advice.”

Interestingly, during her Australian Open run, it was her outfit collection that screamed loud, along with her tennis racket on the court. The 29-year-old shared her hilarious take on the new Australian Open look, which reminded tennis fans of Serena Williams.

Jabeur on her ‘Batman’ tennis outfit

The sixth-ranked tennis player entered with her new kit for the 2024 tennis season, specially designed by Saudi brand Kayanne, which she wore during the Australian Open. But do you know that after witnessing the Tunisian tennis player in a pink outfit, tennis fans recalled the 23-time Grand Slam champion?

During a press conference, Jabeur stated, “I heard they called me Batman. It’s good. The vibes are good. I felt like maybe Serena Williams a little bit, you know, style.”
