‘I Just Never Got Into Her..’- 18-Year-Old Coco Gauff’s Blatant Taylor Swift Admission as She Struggles to Remember Hit Albums

American tennis star Coco Gauff recently crashed out of the Australian Open. While the hopes were high, the American failed to make it big in the first Grand Slam of the year. However, she is still there in the doubles leg and the hunt for her first Australian Open title is still on.

Initially, after her loss, the American was visibly sad. However, the 18-year-old is great at absorbing pressure and moving on. In a recent TikTok video, we can see American enjoying the beats of Taylor Swift’s songs. But there’s a surprising admission from the American. Here’s what happened.

Coco Gauff just started listening to Taylor Swift’s songs

It might surprise many of her fans, but the American was brave enough to admit that she just recently started listening to Taylor Swift songs. The 18-year-old recently took to her TikTok account and shared her top five Taylor Swift song picks.

While enjoying the beats, the American wrote in the caption, “Sorry to all the swifties. I might be offending lol. I just never got into her music but maybe I should start now (I had to google the names of 4/5 of these songs. I’m so bad.)”

Yesterday, Gauff partnered with her compatriot Jessica Pegula to defeat Chan Hao-ching and Yang Zhaoxuan in straight sets quite comfortably. Up next, the American duo is going to face the challenge of the Japanese pair of Ena Shibahara and Shuko Aoyama.

Gauff is using doubles to channel her inner frustration

After all those hard drills and preparations, coming so close and losing is a very difficult thing one can think of. While the 18-year-old was visibly sad in her press conference after her loss at the Australian Open, the American was pretty confident of a good show in the doubles leg.

Speaking about her doubles performance, the American said that she is frustrated after the singles exit and that frustration will come in help when she takes to the court for doubles.
