23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams is arguably one of the greatest female tennis players of all time. Apart from being a tennis player, she also achieved great success off the court. With various endorsement deals, she has become one of the richest athletes in the world, not just in tennis.
Often, we see her doing commercial shoots and photoshoots with various brands. During a recent photoshoot for Audemars Piguet, Serena decided to do something interesting.

American singer Beyonce’s drop challenge is currently trending all over the world. From kids to adults, pretty much everyone is doing it at the moment. It seems like Serena Williams also could not resist herself, as she decided to join the party and do the drop challenge as well.
In the latest Instagram video, Serena shared her drop challenge in an incredible fashion. It looked like she was doing some latest photoshoots with Audemars Piguet as she started doing the challenge. In a strange twist, the American asked everyone on Audemars Piguet’s team to do the challenge with her.
“I had to do it. I even Got the entire @audemarspiguet team to do it. This is worldwide dropping baby!” Serena wrote in the video’s caption.

Honestly, Serena looked incredible doing the drop challenge. Notably, Beyonce’s drop challenge is based on the famous song ‘Yonce’ by the singer.
Serena is on the road to recovery
Currently, Serena is enjoying her time off the court, as she is still recovering from her hamstring injury. Because of the horrible injury, she had to retire from her first-round match at last year’s Wimbledon. Since then, the 23-time Grand Slam champion didn’t play a single match on the tour.

During the Superbowl, Serena talked about her retirement plan, as she is growing her business everywhere. However, we still don’t know about her comeback plan on the tour. Despite all the off-court success, she is still behind Margaret Court’s record 24 Grand Slam titles. At 40, Serena is probably nearing her retirement. However, she can still win one more title if she wants it truly.

Right now, Serena is sitting at 23 Grand Slam titles and recovering from the injury. After missing the Australian Open this year, she will try to make a comeback at the French Open in May. However, the path to a Grand Slam title will not be easy for possibly the greatest female tennis player of all time.
