Coco Gauff and her school of ‘education’
Coco Gauff addressed the media following her win against Zhang Shuai in Round 4 of the 2022 US Open.
She was asked by one of the journalists from the NY Times, about her energy and how animated she generally remains, to which she said, “That was supposed to be like a period, like City Girls period (laughter). City Girls. It’s a City Girl Summer period. That’s what it is (laughter). JT, Yung Miami, you don’t know? It’s like period (laughter). You see I got my long nails. It’s supposed to be like that you know (laughter).”
The American Prodigy seems to like the limelight, and she has embraced it so far rather than being nervous or ignorant for that matter.
The roar from the crowd that kept amplifying till eternity
The home crowd seemed to enjoy watching Coco with the kind of agility and energy she brought to the table.
