Danielle Collins‘s “no-brainer” has bamboozled everyone. Only three days back, she lost her Strasbourg Open crown to her old pal, Madison Keys. In an interview with the Tennis Channel, 2024’s star Danielle Collins delved deeper into her French Open’s first round and the importance of her family inspiring her to conquer more tournaments. However, her reason for attending the Strasbourg Open right before her Roland Garros tour left her fans in amusement. “I just kind of felt like that was going to be the best practice for me. Collins, who already surprised her fans with her incredible victory in both the Miami and the Charleston Open this year, lost the Strasbourg Open final to her old friend Madison Keys by 6-1 and 6-2. Despite losing the title to Keys, Collins won her fans’ hearts with an adorable congratulatory message for her opponent. “What a special week too to play against one of my longtime friends, Maddy. We’ve known each other since we were 10 years old and we used to be pen pals, we used to write each other letters, some incredible memories,” – said Collins.
