Earlier, Alexis had mentioned an episode involving Arnold in his speech. He said, “They lifted up that dumbbell and dropped it right on their foot. The entire gym just stopped and everyone froze and looked out and they were so mortified, they went running out of the gym. Now, this is the exact kind of story you’ll never find on Facebook, you’ll never find anywhere else on social because we’re all too busy trying to show off how great are perfect lives are.”
Further, he went on to add, “But instead, this person found solace on Reddit and who showed up a few hours later? Arnold Schwarzenegger. You can find the post. It went viral, as most things do on Reddit. And he went and said, ‘Look, you did the hardest part just by going to the gym. You should be proud. Don’t be embarrassed.’ And he wrote about this. And within a couple of days, worldwide press, like all things on Reddit, it showed up on Facebook 12 hours later and buzz feed a couple of days after that.”
