In a recent revelation, Julia Lemigova came ahead and opened up about her choice to stay away from church. She explains that she made this decision 23 years ago after losing her son. She said that attending the church didn’t bring her the comfort or answers she needed at that tough time. Instead, it added more sadness.

I know all the ladies are excited, but I don’t go to Church. I separated myself from religion 23 years ago when I lost my son. I went to church and I still didn’t get any answers. In my case it gives me more grief and pain I just cannot that easily walk into the church,” said Julia Lemigova.

What happened to Julia Lemigova’s son?

Lemigova, in the same interview, shared the instance that led her to not go to church. Lemigova, once Miss USSR, tearfully explained that when she was looking for a nanny, a nurse who seemed perfect on paper ended up causing her son Maximilian to go into a coma due to shaken baby syndrome just eight days later.

Julia tried finding comfort in church, but it didn’t give her the answers she needed. Instead, it added more pain. The story reveals the deep sadness Julia went through after losing her child, born in 1997 when she was in a relationship with French financier Edouard Stern.

Thus, these instances did not allow her to go to the church ever after. The loss of her was one of the worst possible things for her and once her son was gone, she lost faith.
