‘I Am a Little Broken..’- Serena Williams’ Husband’s Petty Revenge After His $10 Billion Worth Company Thumps Media Giant in 2017

Williams’ husband, Ohanian’s petty revenge over Yahoo

Serena Williams‘ husband attended a meeting with Yahoo in 2005 to discuss a potential partnership. In contrast, the Yahoo executive asked him about Reddit’s traffic in the first 10 minutes. After receiving a decent response from Ohanian regarding his traffic, the executive referred to Reddit as a “rounding error” in comparison to Yahoo.

Nevertheless, it’s been more than 15 years since the incident but the American businessman has not forgotten about it. In a recent interview, he talked about his revenge when his company took over Yahoo after breaking Yahoo’s traffic records. He said, “And you know, 4 years ago, 5 years ago, Reddit surpassed Yahoo in traffic. And you better f**king believe I found an old photo of that sign on my wall of that reminder. It felt really really good. But I just, I don’t know. Like I said, I am a little broken in that way.”

Earlier in 2017, $10 billion worth Reddit suppressed Yahoo over the same issue for which it was called a “rounding error”, making his revenge game strong. Not only that, but the 39-year-old American investor also made it clear that it’s very important to motivate other small capital companies and founders who have just started off with their businesses. Further, Ohanian added that he is a little broken when it comes to taking revenge. He also commented on his own story and added that the words said by the Executive still motivate him after so many years.

Ohanian’s way of taking revenge

During the same conversation, Ohanian also talked about how he handles those petty mean tweets when he started the Angel City FC, a Los Angeles-based women’s soccer team. Even when a fan asked, Ohanian agreed with his words.

Ohanian saved screenshots from that time. He added that since then he shares screenshots of mean tweets tagging that person on a side next to the sold-out stadium pictures. Just the same way he dealt with Yahoo back in those years.
