“I am not gonna withdraw that tweet. You know I am not ready yet. I am just trying to get over something and I think that takes time. And I just can’t see myself ever like doing anything. I am good. I am in a good space.”
Thereafter, when Morgan pressed on her claim of being happy, “It’s not a fun space actually, but it’s life.” The former world no.1 answered. Further, she added, “I am a hopeless romantic. I am really passionate, like when you see me on court. I am really like intense and that just carries on for everything, whether it’s love or fashion or whatever.
On the other hand, 2012 was a great year for her on the court. She clinched the singles trophy in seven WTA events, out of which two were Grand Slams. Williams triumphed in the grass-courts of Wimbledon and the hard courts of the US Open. Also, the American brought her first singles gold medal in the London Olympics.
