Azarenka recently took to her official Instagram profile to share some inside details from her Madrid trip for the Mutua Madrid Open tour. Azarenka shared many photos in her post with a caption that read- “Some photos from Madrid… mostly food.” In this post, fans mostly spotted the Belarusian player enjoying her time with her friends as they indulged in some lip-smacking food items. Amid all the photos, the second one shared by Azarenka received special attention from her fans and colleagues as it mentioned- “I’m sorry I offended you with my common sense.”

Now this post grabbed the eyeballs of Azarenka’s fan club as they spotted this year’s Miami Open winner Danielle Collins responding to the picture. Collins who is mostly known to be a “no-nonsense” person responded to Victoria Azarenka’s comment where she asked her fans to look at her “2nd post”. In this comment, Collins replied to Azarenka by saying- “@danimalcollins how much can you relate to that?!?!” While fans couldn’t understand the direct reference or if Azarenka dedicated the second photo to someone, Collins’s response showcased an amazing bond between the two famous WTA players.

Nevertheless, Victoria Azarenka’s Madrid-related post somehow eased the pain of her followers. This WTA star presented an unexpected performance in the tour’s round of sixteen. On the other hand, Danielle Collins also encountered an anger outbreak during her match against Aryna Sabalenka in Madrid.

Angry Danielle Collins asked the audience to “have a little more respect” in Madrid

Both the Miami Open and the Charleston Open 2024 winner, Danielle Collins who declared her planned retirement at the season’s beginning brought an outstanding victory against Olga Danilovic to enter the tour’s semifinals. She defeated Danilovic by 4-6,6-4 and 7-6 (8). Given that it is Collins’s last attempt at Madrid, her incredible performance delighted her fans’ hearts. Collins made an outstanding record of winning 15 consecutive matches on the tour.

However, this WTA veteran couldn’t hold her grounds against reigning Australian Open winner Aryna Sabalenka. During this match, Collins became frustrated at some of the audience and shouted back at them saying- “What was that”.

Danielle also lost her cool at the Madrid Open’s third-round match against Jacqueline Christian. She was spotted yelling at an audience by saying-“You come out in here and play, you do what I do, okay? Have a little more respect.”
