Naomi Osaka and her rapper boyfriend Cordae have been making headlines recently. Just a few of weeks ago, the couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Skai. Due to the same reasons, Naomi Osaka even took some time off from the sport as she continued to focus on her family. Just a few hours back, the couple was in the limelight again as the tennis star’s boyfriend released a preview of his new album song, which is supposed to release soon on Friday.

Owing to the same, Cordae started a new trend on his social media channel as he asked people to text him on his number. It resulted in a number of funny Instagram stories, with Cordae sharing his ‘feet pics’.

A few hours back, Osaka’s boyfriend Cordae released a preview of his new album song ‘Make up ya mind’. People loved the preview as soon as it hit their social media feeds, including his girlfriend.

However, after releasing the preview, he also started a series of text messages with his fans regarding the promotion of his new song. He added a story with a contact number and asked his fans to text him, with a promise that he would reply back all day.

As soon as that happened, fans started bombarding him with text messages. One of the fans texted him, “If this was the real Cordae, he would send a pic of his feet”.

To the fan’s surprise, Cordae sent the person a pic of his foot from his bathroom. He even posted the whole conversation on his Instagram story. The whole thread of conversation with his fans turned out to be quite entertaining for him as well as for the people texting him.

In fact, one of his fans who previously shared the stage with him also texted him on the number Cordae provided.

Cordae’s fan reminds him of the time he shared the stage with him

In the same series of text stories that Cordae shared on his Instagram account, one of his fans named Bucky, reached out to him via text. He mentioned that Cordae had brought him up on stage in Minnesota to rap. To which Cordae responded that he remembers him, but he also remembers that Bucky was sick and had a runny nose at the time.

But Cordae appreciated Bucky by saying that it takes a lot of courage to rap in front of everyone. To which Bucky replied that he appreciates him a lot and that his nose is apparently always running.

Funny or not, this tactic of promoting a new track definitely seems to connect with the fans and also garnered a lot of attention for Cordae.
