Raducanu is planning to partner up with Andy Murray for the mixed doubles. They both have considered partnering up for the doubles before also and now Raducanu has dropped hints about their collaboration.
Emma Raducanu on plausible collaboration with Andy Murray
Emma Raducanu had her first match of the grass court season at Nottingham Open against Viktorija Golubic. She had to get assisted out of the match because of her injury. The player talked about probable collaboration with the British player Andy Murray.
She said, “We haven’t actually spoken about it but it’s something we feel we both want to do”. Andy Murray has also expressed his desire to play with Raducanu and has said that he would “love to play” doubles with her.
When will the two collaborate?
Though Raducanu made it clear that she was not sure about the timings. She said, “I’m not sure if this is going to be the year, but hopefully it will happen.” But when asked if it could happen in recent times, she replied, “Soonish”.
Former world no. 1 Andy Murray has played doubles with Serena Williams in 2019 and Laura Robson in 2012 London Olympics.

Andy Murray, too, had made it clear that the idea of the two players playing mixed doubles had surfaced last year. But because both of them were doing well in singles, it got delayed.
He had said, “I would love to play with Emma at some stage. I’m sure we will both focus on having good runs in the singles, but yeah, I’d love to do that.”
