Mike Baggz, a songwriter and businessman, recently took to Twitter to talk about Serena Williams’ marriage. He tweeted stating that Serena would have a more “solidified” legacy had she married an African-American man. Unsurprisingly, this kind of statement infuriated the huge fanbase of the 23-time Grand Slam champion.

Fans are not taking this lightly and even popular names like Scottie Beam couldn’t resist replying to this tweet. Being a feminist, Serena has influenced a lot of her fans who have attacked the “misogyny” in Baggz’s comment.
Team Serena Williams is relentless
Serena fans are not letting this go. The tennis star’s identity as a woman of color has empowered millions across the world. They will definitely not allow anybody to tie her worth to who she chooses to marry.
The songwriter in question, Mike Baggz, tweeted, “Serena Williams’s legacy would of been even more SOLIDIFIED if she married a Black American man.”
