However, Bouchard lost the bet and to the surprise of many, took that fan on a date. This became the talk of the town and their pictures on social media went viral. Further, in 2020, it was announced that a movie based on this life incident will be made. Fox 2000 had picked up the rights for the movie and the Canadian tennis star was on the team as one of the executive producers. However, the film is still under production with the script ready. Recently, she talked about whom should play her in the movie.

During a talk show, the host asked the 28-year-old about the actress she would select to play her role in the movie. Bouchard said, “I love Blake Lively, maybe Margo Robbie or I always get, I look like that girl from gone girl people tell me Rosamund Pike.”
Further, she added, “I know this is like real life. It’s so cool. I’m executive producer and I want a little cameo in it as well and I’m like I want to be the crazy like ex-girlfriend in this guy’s past that comes back to like scream at him that he’s trying to date someone famous or something. I feel like I could be a great psycho ex-girlfriend. I want to live out like my psycho girlfriend moment.”

Talking about who’ll play the fan, she said, “We’re just trying to attach actors to this right now and they’ve thrown around names. I just think, I mean, if if you’re in a couple, he’s a little on the older side. Will Smith, is there nothing going right now? He won an Oscar for it (King Richard). I’m going to go call Richard right now. This sounds like a great life plan for me.”
