She was spotted passing advice and closely observing the Williams‘ playing style. Following that, they sat down for a conversation. Further, the Australian veteran isn’t new to coaching. She has worked with the aces such as former World No.1 Karolina Pliskova and Samantha Stosur. Also, in the year 2020, the 51-year-old collaborated with the Canadian tennis star Eugenie Bouchard.
Speaking about Williams’ past coaches. She, after training under her father and the world renowned coach Rick Macci, joined hands with Patrick Mouratoglou. The French tennis coach embarked in 2012 and guided her till last year’s Wimbledon.
At Wimbledon, the seven times champion suffered a gruesome leg injury which kept her out of the circuit for almost a year. And when she made a comeback, Mouratoglou had already joined forces with the Romanian Simona Halep.
