In contrast to his early career success, Agassi’s personal life was a bit up and down. He initially got married to actress Brooke Shields. However, their relationship didn’t stay intact for many years, and they divorced in 1999. Then, in 2001, he got married to the famous German tennis player Steffi Graf, and they now have two children. In one of her interviews, Brooke Shields revealed she supported Agassi unconditionally when they were dating.

In an interview with People magazine in 2014, the star discussed the breakdown of her marriage and her ex-husband’s drug issue. Shields further spoke about her unconditional support as a wife and said, “He alienated me when he lost and was on to the next tournament after he won. We were drifting apart. I was the one who had supported him unconditionally when he told me (after we started dating) that he was basically bald and had been wearing hairpieces most of his adult life.”
She further said, “Why would this have been any different? I would have been his biggest advocate and supporter.” In 1993, when she was filming in South Africa, they met and fell in love through many long, emotional faxes.
