The tennis circuit is flooding with power couples all around. Madison Keys has made it official with her fiancé Bjorn Fratangelo, also a tennis player and her coach! While there may be challenges to dating your coach and being further engaged to be married, there is a big upside for the American tennis star, other than the support she gets from him. The famous fiancé is always ready to pull up his sleeves and turn on the stove and grill to make a hearty meal for World No.13. And perhaps this dynamic makes them a perfect pair!

Though Keys may be particular about her coffee machine. However, it’s her fiancé who seems to be in charge of the kitchen. In a recent interview with Martina Navratilova after her R1 win, when Navratilova enquired the American about Fratangelo’s corner in their kitchen, Key responded with confidence in her partner’s cooking, ‘All he wanted was a gas range!’ And hence disclosing who dons the chef’s hat at home. However, there is more to the story, as Fratangelo has never used a gas stove, then how come he wanted it?

Keys further opened up about how she convinced her ‘chef’ fiancé to go for a gas stove. Despite being an avid cook, Fratangelo has never tried his hands on a gas stove. But it seems Keys had a good experience on the same, and hence, it didn’t take a lot of convincing from her to get him some. All Keys had to say was, “It’s amazing you are gonna love it.” And what followed was Fratangelo saying, “Okay, great, I want that!” Maybe this simple yet straightforwardness keeps the flames alight in the relation. “So It’s like he loves cooking, love eating so it goes really well!”– she further added.

However, despite all the red roses, Keys and Fratangelo have their own share of thrones to deal with. While Keys is a top-ranked player in the tennis circuit, her fiancé, being her coach, doesn’t make things easy for the pair. The fear of career clashing stays in the back of their mind, when she first put the idea of Fratangelo taking up the position of her coach.

The American tennis star said yes to her birthday gift through her engagement to Fratangelo. A ‘spicy’ relationship, as she once put it, with so many questions that plaguing their mind, despite being together for over 7 years. However, the couple took a leap of faith and got together.

She said, “This is always spicy when you’re in a relationship privately and the person is also your coach. It can be tough.” Further narrated that some doubts arose in Fratangelo’s mind when she asked him to be her coach. She said, “Are you sure? Because we’ve done a great job of kind of staying out of each other’s careers over the seven years we’ve been together.” And the answer was a ‘yes.’
