The 68-year-old tennis coach, who mentored the Williams sisters and Maria Sharapova, recently expressed hope about Osaka’s comeback. He talked about the four-time Grand Slam champion’s biggest strength while giving a ray of hope to her fans.

He wrote, “@naomiosaka best quality is her mental strength. Life is not a straight line. She is a honest champion. Four Grand Slams Seven titles Eleven finals. Has lightning strikes off both wings explosive movement and if she makes it fun this young lady can still be number one!” 

Further, along with the former world number one’s biggest strength. He also emphasized on Osaka’s achievements on the tennis court to date. More importantly, he also showed confidence that even after making a comeback in the tennis world, she can still take up the world number one spot once again.

The 68-year-old American tennis coach made a strong statement a few days ago regarding the Japanese tennis player’s comeback, which will happen next year. In 2024, Osaka will undoubtedly be back in the top 10 of the WTA rankings, in his opinion.
