Likewise, he is an avid supporter of women’s sports in general and has recently invested in one of the NWSL clubs, called Angel City FC. However, there was an instance where he found himself educating a fan on Twitter. He was seen having a discussion about his Angel City football club and the popularity of the league he is part of.

Alexis Ohanian on Tuesday took to Twitter and posted a tweet related to how women’s sports are growing in general. Along with that, he had also mentioned his appearance on the SportsCenter show. “Facts don’t care about your feelings: people want to watch women’s sports. I’m going on @sportscenter this Thursday night to talk about @weareangelcity and the value prop of women’s pro sports.” he tweeted.

In response to this tweet, there was this fan who spoke about the facts and how the facts and claims weren’t in Sync. However, Alexis had the facts to back his claims and came up with a befitting reply.

Two weeks ago, on August 30, 2022, Ohanian took to Twitter, along with a screenshot of a story of a piece from The Hill. The screenshot talked about how more people watched the women’s final at the US Open than the men’s.

The video was posted by ESPN on the same social media platform. It was a response to the backlash Ohanian received after sending a message to his wife, Serena Williams. Following this, Ohanian re-shared the video on his own Twitter account. He further quoted it in support of his wife, Serena Williams, women’s tennis, and women’s football.
