Coco Gauff is a force to be reckoned with on the courts, but her off-court flair is just as captivating! Known for her love of Halloween, Gauff decided to put a Hollywood spin on her costume this year, channeling none other than the iconic Deadpool from the 2024 Deadpool & Wolverine movie. It was a look that left her fans stunned – after all, who doesn’t love a Marvel-inspired twist? But, it wasn’t just her fans who were impressed as ‘Deadpool’ himself lauded the star player!
The American tennis star took to her Instagram to share a series of pictures of her latest Halloween look. She can be seen rocking the red suit with her trademark confidence, which aptly represents Deadpool, along with her brother Cameron, who dressed up as Wolverine. Captioning the post, the star player wrote, “deadpool & wolverine #halloween #marvel.” While this carousel mesmerized her fans, it also drew the attention of the Deadpool actor, Ryan Reynolds himself, who took to his social media to acknowledge Gauff’s efforts.
Sharing the star player’s post on his story, Reynolds commented, “this happened” as he tagged her on the story. This totally took the young American player by surprise, who did not fail to express it on her social media. Re-sharing the story by Reynolds, Gauff wrote, “Ahhh I’m a huge fan this is crazzyyyy. Lol sorry but I had to turn deadpool into a city girl.” Remember, Gauff has been a huge Marvel fan, and this has come to light time and again, especially during Halloween.

In 2022, the star player dressed up as the Moon Knight and sported all-white clothing for Halloween. Along with that, she donned a white corset, matching shoes, and a cape to complete her appearance. She did not forget Moonlight’s weapon and held it in her hand, which further complimented her look. Captioning the images, she wrote, “I swear to protect the travelers of the night.” Gauff was equally mesmerized when she met the real-life Wolverine last year during the Wimbledon.
Last year, Coco Gauff expressed her happiness as she shared a picture with Hugh Jackman. Captioning it with “!!!ahhhh,” she signified how elated she was to meet a real-life Marvel actor. Coming back to her fondness for Halloween, the star player once revealed that this is not something new, and she has been passionate about the spooky season ever since she was a child.
