Chris Evert, like her good friend Martina Navratilova, has been very active on social media lately. After retirement, the 67-year-old works as a commentator during the majors, as she is valued for her on-point analysis and commentary. Apart from tennis, the 18-time singles Grand Slam champion also enjoys watching TV shows. One of her favorites is the NBC show, ‘This Is Us.’

Recently, the show aired its last season. Sharing a tweet about the same, Evert gave her opinion about the show.

Chris Evert is a fan of the show ‘This Is Us’

The family drama show aired for six seasons, from 2016 to 2022. One of the executive producers of the show, Ken Olin, took to Twitter to remind the fans that this was the time of the year when they usually begin shooting a new season. Quoting the tweet, Evert lauded the show while also mentioning that the series ranks in the top three on her list of best TV shows.

“Just watched the last season… gut wrenching… top 3 best TV series on my list… and I’m old, seen a lot of them,” she wrote.

The family drama television show follows the lives of two parents and the life of their three children. It was one of the widely watched shows and all its seasons received rave reviews, both from the audience and the critics.

Evert hated her ‘nice girl’ image

Apart from the thoroughly deserved respect that she garners due to her on-court achievements, the 67-year-old is also loved by many due to her mild-mannered nature. However, the 67-year-old at times gets annoyed by this assumption. Once in an interview, she spoke about how she dislikes carrying the good girl image.

“I know I’m no angel. I’m not as goody-two-shoes as people think, I’m a normal woman. I’ve dated a lot of guys, I’ve had a few drinks. I’ve told dirty jokes, I’ve cursed, I’ve been rude to my parents. There’s nothing in my life, no skeletons in my closet that people should be so shocked about. But I’ve lived a normal life,” she said.
