‘Gonna Have to Setup a Putting Green’ – Serena Williams’ Husband Alexis Ohanian Takes a Big Step After Witnessing Daughter Olympia’s Talents

Serena Williams has ruled the game of tennis for close to 3 decades. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case with her daughter, Olympia Williams. Not walking in the shoes of her mother, Olympia seems to have ditched tennis to master the sport of golf.

Yesterday, on July 8, Olympia showed her golf skills to her parents Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian. Impressed by the performance, Ohanian took no time in deciding to have a putting green on their farm.

Similar to his wife, Serena Williams, Alexis Ohanian is also an avid social media user. The co-founder of Reddit uses his social media handles to interact with his fans and followers on a regular basis. His social media updates largely revolve around his personal and professional engagements.

Yesterday was no different. The 39-year-old took to his Twitter handle, uploading a Tweet. The Tweet featured her 4-year-old daughter Olympia polishing her golf skills in a mini-golf course surrounded by green land. The tweet also had Serena Williams.

Going by the Tweet, an excited Olympia potted the ball in the hole in her first shot. Even though Alexis failed to tape the shot, the reaction of Serena, Alexis, and Olympia were enough to express the feeling of the three. Excited by the skillful achievement of her daughter, Ohanian captioned the Twitter post, “First hole of the day — hole in one! Great job Olympia Ohanian — I’m gonna have to setup a putting green on the farm….”

In no time, the Tweet got flooded with replies. While some appreciated Olympia’s golfing skills and showered their blessings, others went all-heart for Alexis’s pure happiness for her daughter.

Talking about the father-daughter duo, one cannot forget the legendary tennis star, and Olympia’s mother, Serena Williams. After being out of the tour for a year, Williams announced a comeback at the 2022 Wimbledon Championships. Having the urge to perform better at the Championships, she polished herself by playing women’s doubles in Eastbourne.

Following Eastbourne, she finally made a comeback at Wimbledon. However, with a lack of enough match practice doing its work, Serena struggled to move on the court, resulting in a first-round loss to Harmony Tan. However, on a positive note, her serve and strokes looked in good shape. Considering her positive attitude, one can expect a classic Serena comeback in the coming future.
