Apart from being one of the greatest tennis players, Martina Navratilova is known for her strong views. Despite being the center of numerous controversies, the 59-time champion has made sure to stand firm on her opinions. Building on that personality of strong opinion, a talk that has recently been coming into the sight of Navratilova is the LIV Golf Series.

Ever since the start of the LIV Series, Navratilova has been one of the many prominent entities criticizing the contest. Looking at the Twitter handle of the 65-year-old, one can clearly understand the level of dissatisfaction on Martina’s side. Adding on to the discontented rage, Navratilova opted to take a dig at golfers Dustin Johnson and Bryson DeChambeau.

With Wimbledon coming to an end, the sporting world had shifted its eyes to St. Andrews, Scotland, where the biggest golfing names were trying their hands to capture the British Open title. The 4-day action ended with the Australian star Cameron Smith outplaying players like Rory Mcllroy to win the title.

Slightly behind Cameron Smith were American stars Dustin Johnson and Bryson DeChambeau. Dustin Johnson, with a score of -13, tied with Brian Harman on the 6th spot. On the other hand, at -12, Bryson DeChambeau held the 8th spot along with fellow countrymen Jordan Spieth, and Patrick Cantlay.

Despite being in the 6th and the 8th spot, Johnson and DeChambeau were praised by the golfing world for their impressive performance. However, that wasn’t the case with Martina Navratilova. Ignoring their performance at the British Open, Navratilova opted to take a dig at the two men. A dig, which largely looked like frustration over their stance on the LIV Golf Series.

Taking to her, Martina wrote, “Am I a bad person if every time Dustin Johnson or DeChambeau are hitting the ball I am silently flipping them off?”

This isn’t the first time that Navratilova took a dig at a player participating in the LIV Golf Series. Prior to this, she also criticized a number of other players including Phil Mickelson. Going by the headlines, Mickelson previously criticized the event. However, days later, a $200 million sign up reportedly prompted Mickelson to change his stance. Learning about the change of stance, Navratilova criticized the American golfer saying, “More pathetic dancing sideways by Phil.”
