Former World No.1 and the winner of 23 Grand Slam singles titles, Serena Williams is currently enjoying her life outside the tennis court. The American hasn’t returned to the court since the first round of last year’s Wimbledon, where she suffered a hamstring injury. Since then, she has been spending time with her daughter and family while trying to recover from injury.

Serena has been quite busy even without professional competition, shooting various endorsement deals, and vacationing with her husband, Alexis Ohanian, and their daughter Olympia. Undoubtedly, Williams is having the time of her life away from the tennis court.
In a recent Instagram video, Serena was showing off her makeup skills and in the caption, she wrote, “Just a girl trying to do her makeup.” She was also looking as glamourous as ever in that video with a particularly charismatic cameraperson.

Serena decided to withdraw from the Australian Open
Serena was trying hard to recover before the Australian Open, but couldn’t, and she had to withdraw from the Happy Slam. Given Serena’s absence, the Australian Open tournament has now become wide open. But, the 40-year-old is not giving up yet to reach that famous milestone of 24 Major titles.

18 time Grand Slam champion Martina Navratilova wants to see Serena back on the court. She wants to Serena play more matches on tour but wishes for her to become healthy first.
In a recent interview, Martina said, “My prediction for Serena Williams in 2022: I hope she can be healthy… but she needs to play more matches.”
