Japanese tennis star Naomi Osaka is an immensely talented young prodigy who has already won 4 Grand Slam titles. However, her game has not been up to the mark this year. The 24-year-old crashed out of the French Open 2022 with a first-round loss. Further, the Japanese missed out on the Wimbledon Championship because of her Achilles injury.

Even though she is not performing well in tennis, her business game has improved significantly. The four-time Grand Slam champion recently launched her denim collection in collaboration with Levis.

Naomi Osaka teams up with Levis to launch her clothing collection

Taking to her Instagram account, the 24-year-old unveiled the latest designs which will be up for purchase. Notably, Osaka herself made the original sketches for the dresses.

 

Here’s what she wrote in the caption“My 2nd @levis collaboration is out now so fulfilling to sketch something out and then see it come to life. From the clothes to the concept and picture reveal, everything was so fun and it was amazing again to learn from the @levis team.”

This is the second time the Japanese have collaborated with Levis. Earlier in August last year, she launched her first collection with the brand, which was focused on upcycled fabrics.

Osaka to play in the Silicon Valley classics

After suffering a shocking defeat in the first round of Roland Garros, and missing out on Wimbledon, the 24-year-old is all set to return to the court. The 4-time major champion will participate in the Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic in San Jose.

It will be a great opportunity for the Japanese to prepare well for the upcoming US Open. Both the finalists of Wimbledon this year, Elena Rybakina and Ons Jabeur, would also participate in the tournament.

The tournament is all set to kick start on the 1st of August. With not much time left for the tournament, it will be interesting to see how she performs.
