The French Open is in full swing and coming into the latter stages of the tournament, the action is just double and the madness is over the roof. With only the best players in the event remaining, the hunt for the prestigious title is on. One of the stars, eager to lay her hands on the title will be Coco Gauff. While Americans are not considered very good at clay, Gauff is proving all of them wrong.

Having made her way into the tournament’s semi-finals in the singles category, she is also sending shockwaves into the doubles. Partnering with Katerina Siniakova, she has made her way into the quarter-finals in doubles. And this is something that her coach, Brad Gilbert certainly could not get enough of. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), he oozed confidence into how her student Coco Gauff and a few players are the only names in every event format.

Mentioning the young Russian prodigy Mirra Andreeva and the Italian sensation Jasmine Paolini, Gilbert suggested that these are the only three players who are there in both the singles and doubles categories in Roland Garros.Under the radar in the Women’s @rolandgarros there are 3 players still alive in singles and doubles @CocoGauff Paolini and Andreeva,” said Brad Gilbert in his tweet.
