Just another day and another reason why American fans are so angry at the broadcasters. With the French Open going on and the action-packed madness is what every tennis enthusiast is looking for at the moment. But what if you can’t see your favorite players play? The same thing happened at Emma Navarro’s match. Having made her way into the third round of the tournament, she faced compatriot Madison Keys. While the match was worth every single penny, the tennis fans could not get a chance to watch the match.
Instead of playing the live ongoing match, the Tennis Channel broadcasters chose to show Stefanos Tsitsipas‘ Barcelona Open highlights when he faced Casper Ruud in the finals. Seeing this, the tennis fans were simply furious and they went ahead and slammed the broadcasters.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter) one fan spilled out his frustration by saying that instead of showing the live match, they are showing some old highlights. “What’s going on with @TennisChannel ? There are 2 live matches playing on 2 majors courts, and neither tennis channel nor T2 are showing them, instead showing old reruns?? What am I missing,” said the fan who was clearly not happy with the way things were going.

Another user then joined him who complained about the same thing. While suggesting that two major American stars Emma Navarro and Madison Keys are playing, they prefer to show some old highlights. “I really don’t understand why @TennisChannel is not showing the Keys/Navarro match. Two American women facing off…smh,” said the fan in clear frustration.
The tweets just did not stop. While it is not the first time that something of this sort has happened he asked the authorities the reason behind showing the highlights instead of a live match. “why in the world is @TennisChannel playing replays of Barcelona in the middle of Roland Garros?” said the fan in amusement.
Next, after this match, Novak Djokovic was in the line to compete. This fan, after seeing the coverage has already ended questioned how they would see the Djoker if they’re not even showing live matches. “@TennisChannel Did I miss something? How are we supposed to watch Djokovic match If your coverage has ended for the day?” said the fan in clear frustration.

Last but not least, just like the others, this user also questioned Tennis Channel after their weird choice selection forced players to watch old highlights instead of a live ongoing match. “Why is @TennisChannel showing Tsitsipas Ruud BARCELONA replay when we have Keys and Navarro on Lenglen?????? WHY???! Quickly!” asked the fan out of curiosity.
Thus, the tennis fans joined hands once again as they showed their frustration once again over the poor choice selection of matches. While the fans were waiting to see their favorite stars live in action, all they had to settle with was the previous tournament’s highlights. However, this is not the first time that anything of this sort has happened.
Before Madison Keys’ match, the tennis broadcasters had to face fans’ wrath on multiple occasions

This is not the first time that something of this sort has happened. A few days earlier, the match of the French Open so far, which featured Iga Swiatek in action against Naomi Osaka was also interrupted by the broadcasters. While the whole world enjoyed the stars in action, the Americans apparently could not get their sight on the match.
This resulted in mass rebellion from the fans who did not hold a word and brutally slammed the tennis authorities for their poor broadcasting choices. Thus, it is not the first time that the fans have not been able to watch quality tennis. In a big tournament like the French Open, the fans would love to watch their favorite stars in action. However, events like these would surely halt their fun.
