The unstoppable star of 2024, Danielle Collins‘ boyfriend Bryan Kipp, who “didn’t know anything about tennis” has devoted his full time to supporting Collins despite his “really busy work week.” After defeating the 25-year-old American tennis player Caroline Dolehide yesterday, the 30-year-old player opened up about how Bryan’s “level-headed” and “calm” personality has made her feel like “a breath of fresh air” even in her farewell year on Grand Slam.

In an interview with Tennis Channel, Collins said – “Bryan, my boyfriend has been amazing. Like figuring out his work schedule to also be able to support my career, that really makes me feel more at home the weeks that I have family and friends around. I think that’s part of the reason why I did so well in Miami and Charleston was because, you know, I was close to home.” Collins’s boyfriend has enchanted the fans by traveling from Boston to South Carolina to attend his girlfriend’s Charleston Open performance, which presented his dedication and support for his partner’s professional endeavors.

On that note, this lovely duo first met in a cafe in London when Bryan had no idea about her profession or tennis. “Yeah, Bryan made the trip from Boston. He’s had a really busy work week. We have been going out for a while now. We met at a coffee shop in London so that was pretty exciting, I didn’t think I would meet someone at a coffee shop. Who would have thought? Just after the tournament, Wimbledon, He didn’t know anything about tennis, and he didn’t know I was a tennis player, which was really nice. He was actually a bigger fan of golf and so he said, ‘Well I really like golf. I don’t really know much about tennis.’ And I was like, ‘Yes! That’s so exciting,'”- said Collins to the Tennis Channel after her Miami Open 2024 victory.

“Coming from the healthcare industry and being a college football player,” Bryan has been there for Collins like a constant pillar of support and motivation. She further added, “I mean Bryan’s awesome. He doesn’t know that much about tennis. This is like a whole new world to him…So it’s been a learning process for Bryan, but Bryan’s personality and how level-headed he is and calm and just kind of go with the flow, life with Bryan is very easy, and always like a breath of fresh air to be around. I mean, I get so many compliments on Bryan all the time I feel like everybody in the tennis world is obsessed with Bryan.”

Danielle Collins’s comments about her partner, are a testament to their strong bond. Given Collins’s incredible performance at the Roland Garros 2024’s first round, fans can understand how her boyfriend’s support has been a catalyst for her indomitable spirit on the court.

This American WTA star impressed the fraternity by pulling off an amazing victory against her opponent Caroline Dolehide by 6-3 and 6-4. This victory brought the 30-year-old Miami Open 20224 winner another feat as she entered WTA’s top 10 ranking for the first time since July 2022.

“I feel like I’ve provided pretty boring conversation in the sense of like, you know, it’s a lot of hard work and figuring things out and figuring out how to make little adjustments on your shots and improve little by little technically and tactically. I feel like I just keep putting people to sleep with that, but really I think a lot of the success over the last couple of weeks and months is a product of things clicking because I have made those improvements”- said proud Collins after her debut round victory in Paris.

To sum it up, despite Collins’s physical challenges, her incredible victories prove how much her boyfriend has encouraged her to become the player she always wanted to be in the final hours of her professional career.
