Former World No.1 Serena Williams registered a fabulous victory in the first round of the French Open 2021. With her triumph, the tennis queen surely gained some momentum after her poor form on clay. She’ll now advance to the second round of the tournament where she’ll be up against Romania’s Mihaela Buzarnescu.

Similarly, Mihaela Buzarnescu also registered a one-sided win in her first-round match at Roland Garros 2021. Facing Arantxa Rus, the Romanian player thrashed her opponent in straight sets. Interestingly, she too hit five aces in the match and won with the scoreline of 7-5, 7-5.

World No.8 Serena surely has one of the most powerful forehands in the world right now. Buzarnescu will need to find a counter for that if she needs to stand a chance against the mighty Williams. On the other hand, the Romanian will try to stun the 23-time Grand Slam winner with her high serves.

Serena will surely begin as the favorite before the match. It is her forehand that can cause quite a lot of damage to Buzarnescu and she’ll hit it whenever she finds any room. However, if the Romanian targets her backhand consistently, she can make it a tough one for the American legend.
