7-time Grand Slam winner Venus Williams may not be the force she once was on the tennis court. However, her love for the game is keeping her going, despite the fact that she is 42 years old. Venus is eager to continue as a pro tennis player for as long as she can. Right now, she is on the road to recovery after suffering a hamstring injury at the 2023 ASB Classic. While it’s still not clear when she’ll be back in action, she’s certainly making the most of her recovery time on the business front.
Recently, Williams’ activewear and skincare brand ‘EleVen’ took to Instagram to announce that it’s dropped new styles in its activewear line. The post featured a confident Venus on the tennis court. Is it a sign of things to come?

In an Instagram story posted by the official ‘EleVen’ Insta page, a particular image stood out. It featured Venus making her way across a tennis court with a racket in her right hand. She went with an all-white look, wearing a tennis dress, skirt, and a pair of tennis shoes.
While the post itself had no mention of when Venus is going to return to the tennis court, the fact is that the all-white look in tennis is associated with only one event in the world; the Wimbledon Championships. Over the 29 years of being on the WTA tour, Venus has amassed 5 Wimbledon titles. So, if she does return to playing tennis soon, there’s no place more fitting than the All England Club.

Venus Williams’ Wimbledon history
Whether Williams recovers in time for the 2023 edition of the Wimbledon Championships remains to be seen. Even if she doesn’t regain match fitness for the tournament, it still won’t take away from all the Wimbledon titles Williams has won so far.
Williams’ first Wimbledon singles title came in 2000 when she defeated Lindsay Davenport. A second consecutive title followed in 2001. This time, Williams got the better of Justine Henin. For her next Wimbledon title, Williams had to wait until 2005. She met Davenport again and history repeated itself. 2007 brought Williams her fourth Wimbledon title after she defeated Marion Bartoli. Another title went Williams’ way in the consecutive year of 2008 following her win over sister Serena Williams.
