Venus Williams is a force to be reckoned with in the world of tennis for more than two decades now. With 21 Grand Slams and four Olympic gold medals under her belt, her powerful and elegant strokes inspire budding tennis players with a newfound fervor even today. However, despite her achievements on the court, Venus also deals with her fair share of setbacks. Injuries that seem determined to keep her out of action. However, true to her form, she never disappoints her fans, bouncing back stronger. And her fans keep hoping that this time will be no different.

After her injury scare at the Adelaide Open, WTA legend Venus Williams has missed out on a lot of the season’s first tournaments. These include Australian Open, Indian Wells, and Miami Open, among others. While her fans are wishing for her speedy recovery every day, Venus does keep them updated with tidbits of her personal life on social media. Recently, a few days after she teased followers with an Instagram story about getting back on the court, Venus is back again with a hopeful message for her fans, albeit a bit cryptic.

Venus Williams is coming back, but when?

In her recent Instagram post, Venus seems to have given her fans a glimmer of hope. With a picture of herself sitting out in between practice at a tennis court, she says, “It has begun #tennislife”. This has sent her fans into a frenzy, with many speculating that it could be a sign of her imminent return.

A fan already went ahead to predict Venus winning the 2023 Wimbledon with her power strokes. They said, “Winner of Wimbledon 2023🔥”.

NFL star, Bryant McKinnie, is also enthusiastic about Venus taking the court again, stating, “Let’s Get It‼️ 💪🏽🎾 @venuswilliams

Comments like- “We love to see this!!👏❤️” and “Happy to see you back” are pouring in constantly, making the post go viral within hours of posting! Venus’ entrepreneurial pursuit- EleVen by Venus has also cheered her on from their official Instagram account with the message- “Let’s go!🔥 The start of something big👀”.

As Miami Open draws to a close, they sure seem to be missing Venus. It is evident as they comment, “Let’s gooo!!!!”.

Although it is not clear when exactly Venus is planning her return, her message has certainly got her fans and followers excited more than ever. Although she has confirmed that her next tournament should be on clay, if all goes according to the plan, nothing is rooted in surety yet. Known for her determination and fighting spirit, it seems unlikely that this injury will be able to keep her off the court any longer.
