The 23-year-old American actress recently shared all the details about her first DM on Instagram for the social media series SEEN (get it?). In that, she revealed that the American tennis legend reached out to her first with some amazing words of encouragement.

“The first DM Serena Williams send me. She sent a really nice message, something along the lines of, ‘I’m really proud of you; keep going’.” Further, she also shared her fangirl response to the DM that came as a little surprise to her. “I was dying at the interaction, and I didn’t know what to say! I think I ended up thanking her and telling her how beautiful her family is and how Olympia, her daughter, is so special,” she added.
Additionally, they exchanged phone numbers after the sweet DM conversation, but Bailey has been too afraid to text her. But after the DM conversation, the daughter of Halle Berry was able to meet the 41-year-old tennis legend at this year’s Met Gala. They transitioned their online friendship into the real world.

In fact, the former tennis player chose the name of the Little Mermaid from the film as one of the names she could consider for her newborn child.
Williams wants to name her second child after a Disney character
The former world number one uploaded a TikTok video after revealing her pregnancy at the multi-million dollar event. And she mentioned how much she loves Disney and tossed a variety of Disney characters’ names into the mix for her second child. She offered names like Maleficent, Scar (from The Lion King), Gaston (from Beauty and the Beast), and Lady Gothel (from Tangled) in that video. She also mentioned how much she liked Ursula from the Little Mermaid movie.
