Venus Williams and Sloane Stephens’ 2021
Sloane Stephens is currently experiencing a 14-12 win-loss record in 2021. The World No. 69 has played 11 tournaments this year, including the three Grand Slam events. Her best finish has been at the Emilia Romagna Open in Parma. She reached the semifinals in Parma, eventually losing out to Qiang Wang.
Venus on the other hand had a poor run this year as she only made it till the round of 64 of a few tournaments. In the doubles category too, she could not prove her old worth and magic. In the 2021 Wimbledon Championships, Venus’s mixed doubles partner, Nick Kyrgios got injured and the pair had to withdraw from the event.
