Iga Swiatek first grabbed people’s attention in 2019, and then again in 2020, when she became the French Open champion. She is the youngest player in the WTA top 10. The polish woman has been quite consistent in her short but impressive career so far. Right now, she is playing at the Indian Wells Masters where she has reached the semifinals.

Iga Swiatek applauds Ash Barty
She spoke about how she is taking inspiration from the world No. 1, Ashleigh Barty, who seems to thrive in matches despite being on the back foot. Barty, who won her 3rd Grand Slam at the Australian Open 2022, is a fighter and her on-court demeanor is exceptional.
“Ash Barty has this mindset. When she feels the match is really tight she treats it like a great experience beacuse she can find solutions, actually be focused on that. It’s a great challenge for her.” Swiatek added.
