Serena Williams played the last match of her career, and the epic US Open match attracted various celebrities. Ciara Wilson was one of the many celebrities who attended Serena’s last match. She often posts on her social media in support of the legendary American.

Ciara is often found in the stands along with N.F.L. quarterback star Russell Wilson cheering for her close friend. Ciara was also present at Williams’ Signature Statement Spring 2017 show to support the superstar.
The dazzling singer, Ciara, opens up on her affection towards Serena Williams
For a digital cover story for the Business Insider, Ciara shared her feelings about the 23-time Grand Slam champion. She was quoted,“I think the key to our friendship is the fact that when we get together it’s not about what we do in our professional lives — it’s about being free to experience our authentic selves with each other.”
Ciara, in her email to the Insider, wrote, “The world gets to see her passion for tennis when she’s on the court, but behind the scenes she carries that same passion and enthusiasm.”
Over the years, due to her off-court presence, Serena has gained the friendship of numerous notable personalities like Kim Kardashian, Beyonce and Meghan Markle, among others.

Serena fought fiercely in what was probably the last match of her career
The last match of her career proved an intense showdown for Serena Williams as Australia’s Ajla Tomljanovic proved too much to handle for the American legend. Ciara and her husband, the Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson, cheered for Serena Williams along with other power couples present at Flushing Meadows.

Serena’s husband, Ohanian, was also present in the stadium, sporting a shirt with Olympia’s picture. Olympia wasn’t present to watch her legendary mother play for the last time. The Australian, Tomljanovic, triumphed over the American star, 7-5, 6-7(4), 6-1. Fans gave a standing ovation to their beloved star player despite her defeat.
