Seven-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams appears to be in travel mode right now as she is vacationing in Paris. The American, who last played at the Chicago Women’s Open in August, had a busy couple of months with the promotions of ‘King Richard’.

Updating her followers about her down time through her Instagram stories, Venus revealed one of her favorite spots to visit in Paris -Place Vendome.

A view of place vendome for those who have not been:) one of my favorite places in Paris,” wrote the American.

Looks like Venus went all out with her shopping and even posted a tired photo of herself and wrote, “It was just too much shopping. I’m exhausted. However I will stay strong and carry on”. 

Coming to tennis, Venus, currently ranked 317th on the singles circuit, hasn’t been handed a wild-card yet by the Australian Open organizers. However, the American is also yet to reveal the status of her leg injury that forced her out of the US Open this year.

Venus teamed up with Nick Kyrgios at Wimbledon to produce a dream on-court pair

The American couldn’t produce a significant run in any of the tournaments she participated this year as youngsters got the better off her on most occasions. Even though her appearances this year were minimal, the American managed to impress fans at Wimbledon, where she played both singles and mixed-doubles.

While her singles campaign ended with a second-round loss to Ons Jabeur, she teamed up with Nick Kyrgios and the duo had fun during their opening round match and ended up victorious.

Just when more fireworks were expected on-court from the two, Kyrgios withdrew from his third-round match against Felix Auger-Aliassime midway owing to an abdomen injury and had to withdraw from the mixed-doubles second round match too.

Along with solo performances, it will be enthralling to witness Venus Williams participate in doubles and mixed-doubles events next year on the WTA tour.
