This year, tennis legend Serena Williams‘ will be celebrating a little differently, but no less festively. And when a fan directly asked Alexis Ohanian, the co-founder of Reddit, to share something special from his wife, he obliged by giving a sneak peek at her upcoming activities.

A freelance writer decided to reach out to Ohanian with a unique request. All he wished to see was more of Serena’s lively personality and therefore pitched the idea of an engaging show where she could participate. “I need the real tea about all the tennis matches and behind the scenes she will give me. I NEED IT. @alexisohanian please produce this and call it ‘Game, Set, Snatch’ with the Williams sisters,” the writer suggested. Alexis Ohanian quickly came up with a response, as he had one from Serena’s upcoming visit to an entertainment show.

Serena Williams is set to appear on YouTube popular show Hot Ones, later tonight. The show is famously known for the combination of food and conversation along with letting fans enjoy the presence of guests. Celebrities and renowned entities indulge in a Q&A session while eating increasingly spicy chicken wings. Hot Ones has become famous for its entertaining and often hilarious interactions and is hosted by Alexis’ favorite Sean Evans.

“This week on Hot Ones, we[‘ve] got Serena Williams vs. The Wings of Death,” the show’s official Instagram post announced, giving out an update on Serena’s entry. For the ones waiting to witness Serena’s documentary, this could be a perfect way of getting pre-glimpses of it along with uniquely planned promotions. However, this isn’t the only anticipated appearance of the WTA legend.

Serena Williams set to host the ESPYs

Serena William’s schedule for the ongoing month is packed with surprises for the fans. Besides the release of her docuseries which is scheduled to be on the 10th of July, she has also confirmed her presence at the ESPYs Awards. The event is scheduled to commence just hours after the release of her docuseries and would therefore make her the fourth woman to lead since the Awards’ commencement.

Ever Serena herself was quite excited to be a part of the show. “This is a dream come true for me, and something I’ve wanted to do for as long as I can remember,” she said in a recent interview, expressing her eagerness to hold the center stage. Along with that, she also felt honored to be a part of the event. “It has been a sensational year for sports and an unprecedented one for female athletes. I can’t wait to celebrate everyone onstage in July,” the tennis legend added.
