“In New York, they say you’re always looking for a job, a boyfriend, or an apartment.” Eugenie Bouchard knows the drill. She’s juggling a tennis career, navigating a recent breakup, and searching for the perfect apartment in the Big Apple. It’s like she’s stepping straight out of Sex and the City, living a life filled with excitement, challenges, and endless possibilities.
On October 19, Bouchard took to her Instagram handle to share a series of pictures of her moving into a new apartment in New York, starting her life fresh. It all started when she shared a picture of her home keys in the background of her apartment. Along with that, she wrote, “in my Carrie Bradshaw era,” putting Manhattan, New York, as the location. Carrie Bradshaw inspiration?
Eugenie, echoing the fictional character and the protagonist of the Sex and the City, referred a significant period in her life as her “Carrie Bradshaw” phase. Similar to Carrie, who skillfully managed her friendships, romantic adventures, and work in the fast-paced City of New York, Bouchard is welcoming a new chapter full of challenges and excitement. The updates that followed told the other bits of her New York move.

The next story had a picture of her apartment’s main door. A guy carrying Bouchard’s tennis racket and other stuff was seen entering the place. She wrote, ““The moving guy w the important stuff.” Following that, she shared a post, having the caption, “In New York, you are always looking for a job, a boyfriend, or an apartment.” Bouchard highlighted how she is done with the most of it, and wrote, “2/3 almost there.” Let’s put this into perspective.
One of those goals was to find a new apartment in New York City, and she’s apparently found her new place. Her decision to join the Professional Pickleball Association aligns perfectly with her adventurous spirit and her desire to try new things, just like Carrie Bradshaw. It’s a bold move that surprised both the tennis and pickleball worlds, especially considering that other well-known athletes like Sam Querrey and Jack Sock have also made the transition to pickleball. On the other hand, she will also be seen playing the pickleball slam 3, stepping in Maria Sharapova‘s shoes.
However, in April this year, Eugenie Bouchard and Jack Brinkley-Cook, son of supermodel Christie Brinkley, have reportedly ended their relationship after two years together. It is not known why they decided to go their separate ways.

“I thought I would have more free time, and I feel actually busier than ever.” Following that, she added, “Now I’m able to spend a week doing Tennis Channel broadcasting, I’m able to attend events, or do things that I normally wouldn’t be able to do…Since I’ve had more of a (pickleball) specific schedule planned out, I’ve just added more things into it.”
