Emma Raducanu had her first match today after her comeback. And her fans were delighted to see that not only did she have her first comeback match but also scored her win. Being away for so long from the sport and then coming surely must feel surreal. Besides her fans, another person who has always been a constant cheerleader and supporter of Emma Raducanu is the British actress Gemma Chan.

Even earlier when Raducanu had posted about her surgeries, the actress had lent her support through social media to her. And now after her win when Emma Raducanu posted about it on her official account, the actress has once again expressed her unfeigned support to the tennis icon.

After scoring her first win in so long against Elena Ruse, Emma Raducanu posted a heartfelt message on her official Instagram account. She posted about how she was very emotional with the win and that the win felt really good for her as she was able to win after 8 months as she was recovering from her injury.

After she made the post, a lot of her fans commented on her post. One of the common names that popped up in the comment section was of the British actress Gemma Chan who posted a heart emoji on her photo. She has always made sure to support Raducanu even when she was going through surgeries.

After winning her first match post her comeback, Emma Raducanu was asked about how the win felt for her after 8 months. To which she responded that it was very difficult to be away from the sport for so long but now she is very happy to be back. She also shared how she is very happy to be healthy and that she is not bedridden.

Further, she also added that she is very grateful that now she is recovered and she was able to start this season on a great and positive note. She also shared how earlier she was in a wheelchair and now having her first win is truly astounding for her.
