Recently, she reflected upon the difficulties she faced during her recovery from injuries.
The former US Open champion is gearing up for a comeback next week. She will be in action at the Auckland Classic, a tune-up tournament ahead of the Australian Open. Ahead of the event, Raducanu made a startling revelation.

Recently, the 21-year-old appeared for an interview with Sky Sports, wherein she talked about her injury setbacks and comeback to the sport. She also spoke about what she went through while coping with her injuries.
Talking about this, Raducanu said, “I had a few hiccups along the road, someone related to the injury. So I think it took a while and like I would play. And then I had a patch where you know, I couldn’t play again for two months because of one of my wrists. And that was really difficult, I’d say, because I felt like I was just getting going and then a setback again.”
She went on to add, “I remember, I had like, two wrists and one foot, so I couldn’t even use crutches. I basically had like a scooter kind of a thing.”

He went on to add, “So for me, from, let’s say, the first three, four months of the year, I think if she could stay injury free and play a whole series of tournaments without any setbacks, I think that would be fantastic because there is no doubt about her ability.”
