Britain’s former Grand Slam winner Emma Raducanu may have been struck with bad luck but that can’t suppress her ambitions. While most of her last two seasons were spent recovering from injury, it seems she is ready to bounce back. Pouring her heart and soul, she is currently preparing for a comeback that might be her career defining moment. So, what does her team predict about it?

Raducanu’s team has released a new statement about the Briton’s chances of attending the 2024 Billie Jean King Cup. Raducanu met an injury six weeks ago while playing at the 2024 Korea Open. During her match against Daria Kasatkina in the quarterfinals, she twisted her left foot’s ligament and had to withdraw halfway through. Although the Briton had plans to attend the 2024 China Open and Wuhan Open, she ended her Asian Swing after the injury. Now, it seems Raducanu’s recovery is complete and her team has the latest update.

A reliable Emma Raducanu fan page shared her team’s statement on X. “Emma is training well and being with the team next week is her focus.” They also added the team would reach Malaga on Monday to play against Germany in the first round on the 13th of November. The former WTA number 10 resumed her training at the LTA National Tennis Center hinting at the possibility of playing the Billie Jean King Cup.

Captain Anne Keothavong also considers the WTA number 23 Britain’s current best WTA player. Double specialists Harriet Daret and Heather Watson might also be there.

The Briton was always focused on the BJK Cup. While addressing her withdrawal from the Asian Swing, she offered some information about the possibility of joining her team for the historic tournament.
