Emma Raducanu was almost out of the entire 2023 season due to her injuries. However, recently she made an announcement about her comeback in the first week of January with the tennis tour in Auckland. The US Open Champion from 2021 had 3 operations due to which her ranking has fallen to as low as 296.
However, she was recently given a wildcard entry at the Auckland Classic where she will be playing between the 1 of January to the 7. Right after her announcement, Raducanu rigorously started preparing for her tournament and nothing can stop her now through her social media platform.

The 21-year-old Emma Raducanu had surgeries on both her hands and left ankle in 2023. Due to this, she was unable to play in the 2023 season. But now that she has finally made a comeback announcement, Emma Raducanu is making sure to give her 100 percent to practicing so that she can put her best self out there.

And this is evident from her recent Instagram story. In the story, she posted a picture of herself exhausted and wrote a caption with it that said, “How it feels to complete the day coming straight to practice from T5 after a 15 h flight. 2 tennis sessions + 1 gym. Don’t stoppp”

Having missed so many important tournaments at the prime time of her career is truly devastating. But we are sure that the tennis star is all set to compensate for the lost time so that she can bring back her solid rankings in the WTA tour starting in January. Emma Raducanu was also supposed to play in December at an exhibitor tournament. However, she abruptly dropped out of it. Let’s see why!
Raducanu dropped out of the December exhibition tournament
Emma Raducanu was supposed to play at an exhibition event in Macau last weekend. However, out of the blue, she decided to withdraw from it as she was not sure if she was ready to play right away or not. Even though she decided to ditch the tournament, she still flew to Hong Kong as she had some sponsor obligations to abide by.

However, post that she will continue to start preparing for her tournament in London at the National Tennis Center this week. She has been practicing with the LTA staff at the center for the past 8 weeks. If Raducanu gets a wildcard entry to play at the Australian Open, she can start there as well. If not, she still has other tournaments to play before like at Hobard or Adelaide.
