The young British sensation Emma Raducanu falls in this category as she became the first qualifier ever to reach a grand slam final.

At the on-going US Open, Raducanu got through qualifier rounds and stunned the likes of Belinda Bencic, Maria Sakkari, and Shelby Rogers to reach the finals. During her journey, she also acquired scores of new fans. Owing to her playing style and her amicable demeanor post-matches.

Emma Raducanu gets a huge ranking boost after reaching US Open finals
Before the US Open, no one had thought that these two talented youngsters would be reaching their first major final. Suffice it to say that this sport produces champions of strength, of perseverance, and immense talent to go along with these qualities.

Coming to Raducanu, the youngster is set to become the number one British player on Monday. Also, owing to her deep run in New York, Emma will see her rankings jump from No.150 to No.32 in case she loses the final.
