After claiming the Roland Garros girls’ crown, Alina Korneeva has become the talk of tennis at the moment. She is the first player to win two junior slams in a single year after Belinda Bencic and Ana Konjuh. However, Korneeva is not just about tennis. She has interests outside the sport too.

Recently in an interview with the media, she shared what kind of music, movies, and other aspects of entertainment she is into. And guess what came up in her list of things she loves? Well, it was Eminem and we don’t blame her for it. The Rap God is everyone’s true favorite of all time.

The 16-year-old Russian tennis star who amazed everyone with her pro-outings this year spoke to WTA tennis from her off-training base. During the interview, Korneeva shared what lies outside of tennis that interests her. She was also asked about what kind of shows or music she enjoys.

To which she answered, “I finished Game of Thrones a few months ago, and I’ve been watching Wednesday. I like quite a lot of old music — before I play matches, I put on high-energy music, but Eminem will always be the best!”

Well, her answer sounds like any other teenager. Of course, Eminem is a classic musician who will be loved by generations to come. And just like that, even Korneeva seems to enjoy his catchy music above everything!

She mentioned how tennis feels like a relationship between a man and a woman to her. According to her when you are in love, you love all the good and bad things about the other person, and that is how she feels about tennis.

Not just that, she also shared that the one player who stands out for her and inspires her and whose games she loves watching is none other than Serena Williams. Well, who wouldn’t love the player who opened amazing paths for women’s sports, especially in tennis?
