After ending the WTA Finals tour, Elena Rybakina very candidly talked about the kind of support she receives from her parents when she is on tour. Right before her next tournament in November which is the Billie Jean King Cup finals, she shared how wonderful it has been to receive support from her parents.

Rybakina mentioned, “My parents, they took really good decisions. They helped me a lot. Well, when I was young, I knew that I was going to be a professional. It was quite easy on me, and I think I had a normal childhood at school and with my friends. My mom is someone who I looked up [to]. There are tough moments and tough decisions and my parents especially mom, are the one who helps me a lot.”

Having parents who accompany you or cheer for you on your tough day is something that no one can replace. And we are sure having such supportive parents is one of the reasons why she is able to perform so well on the court.
