Coco Gauff has been open about being a fangirl of Beyonce. She even told the media a story of a time she was ‘betrayed’ by her parents, who went to a Beyonce and Jay-Z concert and left her to babysit her brothers.

She posted a picture of the mishap on her Instagram story and shared her grief with her followers. Gauff landed in the wrong place and the mix-up left her very disappointed.

She posted a picture of her in Dubai with the caption “Booked the wrong tickets for the Beyonce concert too 😒“. She later posted another picture on her Instagram story of her enjoying the sights of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. However, this wasn’t the first time that she has missed attending the concert of her favorite singer.

Gauff betrayed by her parents

The rising American teenage sensation recalled an incident of her parents’ betrayal. When she was 15-years-old, Gauff remembered how her parents ditched her to go to a Beyonce and Jay-Z concert. They left her behind so that she could babysit her brothers and ensure everything was fine at home.

“Actually my parents told me to babysit my brothers. They didn’t tell me where they were going,” Gauf revealed. “Then I see on Facebook that they’re at the Beyonce and Jay-Z concert. I was so mad. I told them I wanted to go. They’re like, “We’ll be back in a couple hours.” Then I see on Facebook they’re in Miami at Beyonce and Jay-Z.” The incident was fresh in the mind of the young Beyonce fan.
