Recently the 18 times Grand slam champion addressed gun violence and disclosed her stance in the debate on abortion. She said, “There is a mass shooting on a daily basis. And abortion has gone completely off the radar.”
Thereafter, she spoke about the feasible measure in regards to controlling the increasing armed assaults. “I wouldn’t take people’s guns away. I want to incentivize them to hand them over like they have done in Australia. Drown gun owners in paperwork,” Martina confessed.
“[Then] we will see how badly you really have to have the assault rifle, whose only purpose is to kill as many people as quickly as possible,” She added.

The nine times Wimbledon champion apart from striving for the betterment of human society has also endeavored toward animal rights. She used to hunt game but gave it along with meat about 20 years ago. Further being a lesbian herself, she has openly advocated LGBTQ+ rights as well over the years.
