Just like the way Serena Williams became an author and wrote a children’s book after her retirement, the Miami Open champion has something similar on her mind. But rather than writing about friction, she has thought of writing about her own life, a kind of autobiography, which might reveal a lot of her secrets and dive deep into her life.

She said, “I don’t want to give away my too many of my secrets right because you know but I do think at the end of my career I might write a book and in the book, I might share some of that. So you know I talk about a lot I mean I talk about my health, I talk about my challenges, I talk about my life.”

Further, the 22nd-ranked tennis player also highlighted that in that book she would write about a lot of things that she has been through in her life, starting from her health problems, which are taking a step back from the sporting arena, and the other challenges that have made her tough on and off the tennis court.

However, apart from this, a few days ago, she also revealed an idea that she had in mind: to stay connected to the sport with her boyfriend after her retirement.

Collins mixed double plans with her boyfriend

After advancing to the Charleston Open semi-final round, she provided insights about her boyfriend’s tennis relationship. Along with that, she highlighted how she looked forward to the day when they could compete in husband-wife doubles matches, like the USTA’s, with the goal of winning the coveted gold ball.

She stated, “We just don’t really find enough time cuz we’re doing Golf and he’s also on my matches a lot and you know he’s working. But in the future, I’m hoping that we’ll play like maybe the husband-wife doubles like the USTA, you play for the gold ball. I explained to him that this is a big deal in the tennis world.” Even though both of them are quite busy in their own careers, Collins made sure that after her retirement, she and her boyfriend would play tennis in mixed doubles together.
