Set in the north of Miami, Serena Williams‘ stunning Florida home has it all. The house owned by the 41-year-old American tennis legend includes a tennis court, an art gallery, and most significantly, a trophy room where she displays her athletic success. But now, her husband, Alexis Ohanian, wants a spot in the trophy room to highlight his own brilliance.

The spacious trophy room was meant to be exclusively for the 23-time Grand Slam champion from the outset. And now the co-founder of Reddit is prepared to claim a small portion of the tennis-themed trophy collection. But how exactly did Ohanian stake his claim in the trophy room?

Serena Williams’ husband takes a little spot in the trophy room 

The 40-year-old American entrepreneur recently received some of his trophies from his father to have them in his home that he shares with the American tennis legend and their two daughters. To showcase the perfect spot he has found for his trophies, he took to his Instagram account to share the placement of trophies among Williams’ tennis achievements.

However, even after knowing the harsh tennis reality, he shared a video attempting to boost his prowess against his wife. Ohanian took a sentimental route as he set up his own trophy. He said, “As you can imagine, we have a pretty extensive trophy room here. We don’t even have all of Serena’s trophies here; they are just too many. I just got a box of trophies from my dad, and I wanted to make sure got a place in the trophy room.” 

Further, he also talked about his little achievements from his early days as he displayed more titles, including the Velociraptors’ undefeated spring of 1994 and the Supreme Sports Club Basketball Achiever award. Those two, he kept in the trophy case among the big Grand Slam and major WTA titles. Along with that, he also highlighted his time of glory: “Your boy was out here medaling in the early ’90s, alright don’t forget it.”

Nevertheless, the trophy room not only holds tennis titles but also has a lot of other important possessions that the 41-year-old American tennis legend has. A few years ago, the Reddit co-founder talked about one of the best things kept in the trophy room.

When Ohanian revealed a trophy room secret

Back in 2021, the Reddit co-founder took to his Twitter account to share Serena Williams’ rookie card with his fans. While the former American tennis legends fans were quite excited over the trophy room, the doting husband shared his favorite possession from the same room. Turns out, it was the 2003 Net Pro Elite card.

Moreover, apart from the various tennis titles the former World Number 1 has achieved on the court, there are a lot of other important possessions the couple acquired together. Those, too, are on display in the big trophy room. But now the 40-year-old American entrepreneur has added his own sentimental touch to the room, completing the room with achievements from every corner.
